Police warn shoppers to be vigilant when using cash machines in Aldershot

Police in Aldershot are warning people to be vigilant after a suspicious device was discovered on a cash machine in the town.
Suspected card-skimming devices was found on an ATM outside Tesco in Wellington Avenue on June 22.  The device has been seized and will now be examined by specialist officers.
PC Ian McCulloch said: “I would like to remind the public to be vigilant and check cash machines for anything suspicious before using them.  “Also, make sure you shield you hand when entering your PIN. If you notice anything suspicious on any cash machine, please do not touch the device, but contact police immediately.  “If you have seen any suspicious activity at the cash point outside Tesco in Aldershot, I would really like to hear from you.”
